Series of ‘self-portraits.’ Childhood pictures have been photoshopped into masterpieces paintings. The Dutch Golden Age portraits were selected as a tribute and ode to my Dutch heritage. The past meets the present.
Peltier modules linked to Arduino and relay to trigger a change in a physical screen-printed painting. The Peltier modules generate heat, which in turn activates the thermochromic ink, initiating a transformation in the artwork's aesthetic. Work in progress, still experimenting with temperature and canvas.
